Easy and good Thursday night dinner")

Tonight is like a Fri. night around here, the kids do not have school tomorrow so its a quick and easy dinner night. Marinated tri-tip steaks in olive oil, garlic, oregano and Cavenders Greek Seasoning. The meat has been marinating all day, I'm going to sear it for a 3 mins on each side and then put it in a 475 degree oven for 4-5 mins and take it out to rest. Along with the steaks I'm roasting red potatoes diced and tossed in olive oil and seasoned with oregano, salt & pepper and cooked at 375 degrees for about 45 mins to an hour or until the potatoes are evenly cooked. once the potatoes come out of the oven I toss in about 1/2 c. toasted pecans and 1/4 c. Gorgonzola and drizzle with some olive oil. The potatoes are good served at room temp. I'm going to round off the meal with some broccoli the roasted in the oven when the potatoes were cooking.
